About Prozac in my Corn Flakes

Prozac in my Corn Flakes is primarily about living with bipolar disorder, about not just surviving, but thriving in a world full of prejudice and stigma. I have long wanted to write a book about my experiences based on old journals and memories of growing up bipolar, and when I realized that project had been stalled for three years, I decided it was about time to make a blog. My hope in creating Prozac in my Corn Flakes is to share my personal experiences of living with a difficult illness, and to share resources to help give hope to others with this illness, and to help others to not just survive, but thrive, and lead whole, fulfilling lives.

I initially started with an attempt at daily posts, but that might just kill me, so we’re going with a M-W-F system for now. We’ll see how that goes!

  1. Hi!

I came across your blog. Well done! It’s tough to live with the illness but equally important to work to excell with it. I was diagnosed at the age of 12 and am twenty-six years old now and stable.

I’m going to subscribe…looks like some really interesting content.

    Thanks!

    Sincerely,
    Natalie

    • Thanks for your subscription! It helped give my the good swift kick in the butt I needed to get to posting again, hopefully regularly again. I was doing quite well there for a while.
